In 1987, Cixi Wanji Electric Appliance Co., Ltd was established focusing on manufacturing toroidal iron core and toroidal transformer.

In 1997, Wanji was upgraded to Ningbo Wanji Electronics Science & Technology Co., Ltd. After 10 years of development, our new factory was founded, “Jishisheng” brand was awarded as “Ningbo Famous Brand” and “High-Tech Product of Zhejiang Province”. Wanji has become one of the leading toroidal transformer suppliers in China since then.

In 1999, Wanji passed ISO9002:1994 Quality Management System. We set up the Imp. & Exp. Dept. And succeeded in entering American and European markets.

In 2001, we started to design and manufacture EI power transformer and formed complete power transformer line.

In 2004, Wanji developed High Efficient Toroidal Transformer for Wind Energy Industry and exported to America Markets to become one of the earliest enterprise entering new energy industry in China. This year we passed UL structure and UL Insulation System approvals. Insulation System approvals.

In 2006, Wanji developed Toroidal Transformers for Solar Power Industry successfully. Meantime we followed RoHS Directives and used lead-free materials for power components.

In 2007, Wanji built a subsidiary company--Ningbo Zuoao Electronics Science & Technology Co., Ltd to engage in PCBA for Home Appliances and Equipment.

In 2008, Wanji was authorized with ISO14001:2004 Environment Management System.

In 2010, Wanji had built global customer group for various industries, the R&D ability was raised further.

In 2013, Wanji developed transformer for smart door & window systems to catch up with innovation trends.

In 2016, Wanji designed and developed special toroidal transformer for security & surveillance system to achieve better protection and less interference.

In 2018, Wanji introduced new automatic production equipment to reduce labor cost and increase the efficiency.
